St Giles and St George

Application for the New Electoral Roll 2019

2019 is a Jubilee Year in the church calendar. All names will be removed from the electoral roll and we start a completely new roll.

If you were on the old role you will not be on the new roll, unless you reapply.

Download the Electoral Roll form here.
Please print, complete and sign the form, returning it via the Electoral Roll ‘post boxes’ during service times at St Giles’ Church and St George’s Church Centre – or via the Parish Office. You will need to return your form by Sunday 24th March.
What is the electoral roll?
It’s a list of names and addresses of parish members who attend one of our two centres of worship.
Why should I apply?
It’s good that church members show their commitment to, and membership of, the parish by joining the Roll. And it helps the Church show its strength both locally and nationally. Membership of the electoral roll means you can vote in elections to the Parochial Church Council (PCC) and other positions at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting, as well as nominating or standing for elected positions. You can, of course, still be a full and active member of the Parish of Ashtead without joining the Roll.
How can I get an application form?
Forms will be available from St Giles’ Church and St George’s Christian Centre from Sunday 24th February until Sunday 24th March. You can also download it here: Electoral Roll Application form. Please print it off and fill it in with your signature. Completed signed forms should be returned at church services via the boxes marked ‘Electoral Roll’ - or sent to John Start, the Electoral Roll Officer c/o the Parish Office at St George’s.
