BOB KITELEY moved to Ashtead in 1999 with his wife Alison and their two children Sarah & Andy to become Rector, having served in two parishes in the Chester Diocese. It was in 1978 that God called him from his career in Geology to ordained ministry. His passion is to see every Christian in Ashtead realise their God-given potential.

Associate Rector

 
SIMON BUTLER was ordained in 2006 and served his curacy in Nottinghamshire. He joined the Ashtead Parish team in late 2010.  Simon's interests lie in the areas of theology and politics, economics, and business.  Outside of work Simon is a Director of a Fairtrade clothing company and to relax drives racing cars.  Rumour has it that he is the only ordained clergyman to have driven a modern Formula 1 car but that he is not the Stig.

JAMES LEVASIER grew up in Devon but has lived from Edinburgh to Jersey and several places in between. James was a Building Surveyor before moving into Youth and children’s work for 15 years, lastly in Guildford. He then trained for the ministry at Wycliffe Hall Oxford he joined Ashtead parish July 2009. He loves gardening, running, photography and prayer. He is married to Jo and has two children, Joshua and Grace.

JO LEVASIER joined the team in July 2009, having trained at Wycliffe College, Oxford . Jo was formerly a Youth & Children's Minister in Taunton and most recently at Christ Church, Guildford. She is married to James, has two children, Joshua and Grace and a dog called Poppy. She is passionate about all age involvement in services and letting the Bible speak into our lives.

JOHN WATTS is an assistant curate whose ministry spans both church and world – in the parish John serves with leading worship, preaching and pastoral care of traditional congregations. John is also a hospital chaplain at a major London teaching hospital and doing research on spiritual care in chronic illness.
