Mud Survivors Blog 2?
Here at Soul Survivor it still feels a little like "Mud survivor" but the important bit is that we are surviving and even thriving here by God's grace.
He has continued to do great things here and as a group we are being continually freed to worship God and encounter him more!
But what is the point of that if we remain unchanged? The good news is we have been being changed as we've met with God. There has been a real sense of God doing business with us and many hearts being changed and lives being challenged.
Yesterday we heard about how God needs us to keep soft hearts so we can be moulded by him. Please pray that we would continue to be softened by God's Spirit reigning just as the rain has completely softened just about every inch of ground in sight!

Soul Survivor Blog 1
So here we are in the middle of Royal Bath and West Showground and right now it’s living up to only part of it’s name! We are in a serious mud bath right now but God is good and the mud hasn’t stopped him from meeting with each of us in awesome ways!
We’ve had some challenges since we’ve been here such as marquee parts missing, tents taking all day to set up, rivers (that we can only pray is rain water) running through our village and losing in the football tournament!
This is what a few people had to say on Day One when tents, marquee and food looked as through they would never be ready:-
“My flip flops flipped mud up my back and now I’m all muddy! Ahh! But happy to be here!”
“Marquee is broken!”
“Gahh! Constantly hot then cold – but I’d rather be hot and wear my new life hoody with pride”
“It’s raining and we got no tent!”
“Rugby kicking and lollipops are awesome”
“Why am I still wearing this hat”
“I don't want my hair to curl! Weather is not helping! But we all love God!”
“It's wet and we have few tents, but we're still singing and smiling. we've found a plug for hair straighteners and we have our wellies. We're happy people!”
Oooooo, I found doughnuts!
 “Marquee is fixed”
Despite some real challenges, everyone here is having a great time! We have seen God doing awesome things as his character has just been flooding out into the main meetings and seminars. People have bean being refreshed, inspired, filled up, challenged, set free, bought into relationships with Jesus and God is good.
Please pray for God to continue pouring out more of himself and for his kingdom to continue to advance in this place and as we return to Ashtead later this week.
