 Delicious home baked scones and cakes were enjoyed in Gunn Fenn's garden this year, for our Wheels for the World Summer Garden Party, raising £521.50 for 'Wheels' distributions to Ghana, Haiti, Uganda and Kenya in 2010/11. The marquee was buzzing with conversation as tea was served by our faithful team of helpers. Raffle prizes were drawn, giving the winners days out to look forward to over the summer to various Surrey attractions.
Please pray for Glenda Pike, Wheels for the World co-ordinator as she prepares to head off to Haiti on 14th September for an exploratory trip.
The latest Vital Link, Through the Roof's magazine, is available at both churches or you can view it on the website www.throughtheroof.org. - have a look on pages 2 and 7 for some familiar faces! Put the date in your diaries for the Worldwide Charities Fair at St George's Christian Centre on Saturday 13th November.
