Bees at St George's Christian Centre

Many of you will recall that in August last year we had a swarm of bees which covered the inside of the three high windows at the west end of St George’s Church. A company called Power Pest Control removed them for us. This year it’s only June but over the last couple of weeks the bees have returned not inside the church but to the two trees on the corner of Oakfield Road and the drive into SGCC car park. And this time the bees swarmed in an oval ball shape hanging from the smaller tree in such a way that it was possible for Richard Bradfield of Reigate Beekeepers to capture them. The photos and video taken by the resident at 1 Oakfield Road tell the story. As a result we hope this year to escape the August invasion. Time will tell.
