 Lent Wheelchairs
Thank you very much for your generous donations to the Wheels 4 Haiti appeal by saving £1 a day for the 40 days of Lent. The total raised is now over £4,400! Your money will help to provide much needed wheelchairs and mobility aids in Haiti. For updates on the distribution, planned for the beginning of 2011, please see www.throughtheroof.org.
Ashtead Village Day – Saturday 12th June
(12noon – 4pm)
We will be raising money this year for the planned Wheelchair Distributions in 2011 to Ghana, Haiti, Ethiopia, Uganda and Kenya. Our stall will bring the opportunity to win some fantastic prizes, kindly donated by local organisations, including tickets to Chessington World of Adventures, Drusillas Park and Roald Dahl Museum, to name but a few. The stall will be packed with an array of top quality soft toys for the children and we will have grand prizes for the raffle, kindly donated by Ashtead traders.
 The Classic Car display entrants will be giving their donations to ‘Wheels’ again this year, courtesy of Ashtead Rotary, organised by Rob Rennie and Alaisdair Wallace.
Summer Garden Party
Friday 13th August (2pm – 4pm)
