 Dear friend,
Greetings in the mighty name of our Lord Jesus Christ; I love you and I am hoping that you are doing well at this time. The Lord God has continued to protect me and my family very well, for which I am truly thankful.
I am very grateful for what God has done through the whole time since we became friends some three years ago now. I thank God for your continued support for me and for your standing with me; for surely without you I could never have made it to complete my studies. I would like to ensure you that I am proud of you and may our good God bless you and continue to lead you in His ways.
It has been a long time since my last letter and much has happened in the last six months. I thank God that I was able to graduate from my college in April and am now busy doing His work. Immediately after my graduation I planted a church here in Eldoret; the church is doing well and God is bringing his people in the church, we are about twenty by now. We have so many challenges facing us; we are still worshiping in one of our member’s home. Please, it is my humble request that you pray with us for God to open for us a way so that we get our own place for worship.
Now because the church is still young and the members cannot give me any support, I have decided to start a small business to support me and my family so I may not be a burden to the church. I have opened a small grocery shop here in Eldoret and hope that through this business, I may be able to raise some funds to support me and my family as well as our new church. Please pray with me about this because it is not easy but am enjoying serving God and his people.
