I heard it was Ashtead!
Yesterday took a slightly different turn in the afternoon when a few of the lads decided it would be fun to collect a few signs to decorate our village area with!
As we are on the part of the site known as Red 4 they set out to get a full house and collect all the coloured 4's from around the site. They have done a great job of relocating them showing considerable initiative and team work along the way!
Of course, I was unable to condone such behaviour (lol) but we managed to get a few pictures so you could see what they've been up to!
Then to top it all off I was summoned by Emma into the marquee around 12 midnight with the terrifying words of "you've GOT to see what they've done now!" I had visions of finding Mike Pilavachi bound and gagged on the marquee floor. Fortunately it was not all that bad!
The photo's speak for themselves but needless to say a fairly complex commando style operation was put into effect in order to relocate "Mr. Boogies" to our marquee. I think we may have to return it to the original venue later today as we won't be able to fit in all the hundreds of young people who may turn up at Mr. Boogies tonight!
On a more serious note, we have been enjoying fantastic fellowship across the wide age range of young people that we have here this year and a huge amount of God at work in the meeting times has been a great encouragement to everyone. Please pray that during the final main meeting this evening we would see even more that we have seen so far or expected this week.
Also please keep us in your prayers as we travel back to Ashtead tomorrow morning after what will no doubt be a very late (and fun) evening! |
