Wheels for the World fundraiser

Fundraising continues for Wheels for the World, for the Wheelchair Workshop at Parkhurst Prison.   Pam Driver and Karen Goodridge organised a Finger Buffet Lunch on Monday 13th October, raising £412. Fifty people enjoyed good company and delicious food, a raffle and card and gift sale.   After Pam’s introduction to the work of Wheels for the World, Gunn Fenn gave a short talk about her recent ‘Wheels’ trip to Jordan. Gunn was part of the team distributing over a hundred wheelchairs, a number of seating systems for children, walking frames, crutches, sticks and special children’s boots.   Come and see us on our stall at the Worldwide Charities Fair on Saturday 15th November at St George’s Christian Centre.
